Singapore-based ST Electronics has recently signed three partnerships with global technology providers - Cisco, IBM and Siemplify - to enhance its suite of product offering.

The partnerships will see ST Electronics offering Advanced Threat Detection Managed Security Services, Next Generation Cyber Security Operations Centres and Security Orchestration and Incident Response for its customers across Asia. The Company has also recently made a series B investment of $7.8m in US-based cybersecurity firm Janus Technologies.

Cisco and ST Electronics Collaborate to Offer Advanced Threat Detection Managed Security Services

Cisco and ST Electronics announced they are working together to address the growing threat of cyber breaches and crime in Singapore. 

In collaboration, Cisco and ST Electronics will provide Managed Detection and Response Security Services (MDRSS) to Singapore Government Agencies and enterprises. The ST Electronics - Cisco MDRSS is an integration of Cisco’s security solutions, namely Active Threat Analytics (ATA) and Managed Detection and Response (MDR), with ST Electronics’ Managed Security Services (MSS). Together, this integrated platform will deliver full-time, proactive, systematic threat monitoring and management for ST Electronics’ customers.

ST Electronics and IBM Security Collaborate to Architect Next Generation Cyber Security Operations Centres

ST Electronics and IBM Security has signed an MOU for the purpose of co-developing next generation cyber security operations equipped with cognitive capabilities driven by threat intelligence and Artificial Intelligence, to enhance cyber threat detection, data analytics and abilities to respond to threats across endpoints, networks and users with speed and accuracy.

The collaboration intends to introduce a new concept to ST Electronics’ Security Operations Centres (SOCs), transforming traditional SOCs into a cognitive Command and Control Centre. In addition to the ability to detect early abnormalities and uncover advance threats for proactive defense, the new capabilities of the Command and Control Centre will provide clarity of networks driven by analytics and system integration to enable a swift, nimble and effective response to a security incident.

ST Electronics and Siemplify Partner to Meet Growing Demand for Security Orchestration and Incident Response across Asia

New York-based Security Orchestration, Automation and Incident Response firm,Siemplify and ST Electronics, have joined forces to deliver next generation security operation centre solutions for ST Electronics’ growing customer base in Singapore and the region.

Through the partnership, Siemplify ThreatNexus, the industry’s first security orchestration and automation platform to unify the industry’s disparate enterprise security tools, has been incorporated in ST Electronics’ new Cyber Security Command and Control Centre, providing security teams with a comprehensive platform for security operations and incident response.
