Telstra has entered into an agreement to acquire Kloud, an Australian-based cloud services provider. The transaction is reported be worth $40 million. Kloud has 150 employees across Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide and Manila. 

The acquisition is expected to expand Telstra’s Network Applications and Services(NAS) capabilities, which provides enterprise and business customers with managed network and security services, as well as cloud and communications solutions.

Kloud will enhance Telstra’s consulting-led capabilities by expanding our professional and managed services, complementing recent acquisitions such as NSC, O2 Networks and Bridgepoint.
