Software Defined Network(SDN) startup, Midokura has named Mitsubishi, Access and IP Infusion veteran Koichi Narasaki as its new chief operating officer (COO). Narasaki will be responsible for overall global operations, including business development, sales and marketing. 

Prior to joining Midokura, Koichi served as CSO and COO of Access, where he led several corporate development initiatives and oversaw the acquisition of two Silicon Valley tech companies, Palmsource and IP Infusion. Prior to Access, Narasaki spent 20 years at Mitsubishi as general manager where he drove global business developments in the wireless and networking technologies sector. Narasaki has also held several other senior vice president roles at other leading software companies, said Midokura.
