Telecoms veteran and former Reliance Jio Managing Director, Sandip Das will join global telecoms and media consulting firm Analysys Mason as a senior adviser. Analysys Mason is one of the largest telecoms and digital media-focused global management consulting firms, with its India office based out of Gurgaon.

Sandip who was also a former Maxis Group CEO and former CEO of Hutchison Essar Telecom (now Vodafone India), joins Analysys Mason India following the firm's rapid growth in its advisory business in India over the last few years.

Early this year, Sandip Das, one of the two managing directors of Reliance Jio quit his position in the telecom company and has moved to a mentorship role in Reliance Retail, leaving Sanjay Mashruwala to lead the company.

Having Das’s wealth of experience in the telecoms sector, the firm expects to serve clients in the region with the best and most senior global talent within the industry.

Sandip Das, Senior Adviser, Analysys Mason India
Having worked with Analysys Mason as a client in the past, the firm’s intellectual rigour and in-depth industry knowledge, focus on ethics and principle-based consulting, and un-matched track record of solving some of the most pressing C-level strategy and operations issues impacting the telecoms industry has me looking forward to working alongside Analysys Mason, a firm that I have utmost respect for.
